Eco-building is very in - nothing is allowed to be wasted. The old precious materials of the past have an essence of something magical and mysterious that will not be recreated anytime soon in our new / improved semi-synthetic lifestyle.
Many wood designers have fled the NYC hype to catch a more meditative pace in upstate New York or in the peace of nearby Connecticut. Other have chosen to remain, leading hermit like existences to catch their own personal inspirational rhythm of recycle, create, build and design.
